Discover Your Inner You at The Sanctuary – Hong KongDiscover Your Inner You at The Sanctuary – Hong Kong – In Hong Kong, luxury travelers know The Pier, within the Hong Kong International Airport, is the place to be. But since Pure Yoga’s The Sanctuary opened in early 2018, it’s become even more beneficial for a mind-body-soul getaway than ever before. This 700-square-foot sanctuary is split into two areas, Body Sanctuary and Mind Sanctuary. At the Body Sanctuary, you’ll experience dedicated yoga practices to hone your physical side, while in the Mind Sanctuary you’ll learn strategies to calm and focus your mental side.

Wellness is increasingly important to luxury travelers, and nowhere during a vacation can a traveler become more discombobulated than while waiting for a flight to depart. The Sanctuary’s aim is to provide the perfect peaceful setting for travelers to the region to be able to calm and focus before or after a flight. The Sanctuary’s owners listen to their customers and are constantly evolving their offerings to be certain travelers for luxury pleasure or business have just what they need for a stress-free flight – before and after.

And you don’t need to attend The Sanctuary purely for wellness. You can dine at The Pier’s Noodle House, catch up on business with the WiFi provided, or enjoy a cocktail at the bar. The owners simply wanted to add a level of calm to an industry otherwise fraught with panic for some travelers.

At the Body Sanctuary, you’ll learn gentle yoga positions that you can perform anywhere. Pure Yoga’s teachers completely guide you through each motion. If you prefer to learn in private, there are small studios in which you learn by watching a guided video in seclusion. You’ll even learn how to stretch properly while on a long flight.

At the Mind Sanctuary, you can either learn how to meditate with audio, or by gazing ahead using Trataka yoga practices. Guided meditations are provided for both, as well as noise-canceling earbuds.

Whether on the ground or in the air, meditation during travel can help ease some of the most common travel stressors. Travel and be well with The Sanctuary at The Pier.
